Hey. All the cool news sites have their own fancy URL shorteners (and some like BBC are just cool and have a short URL period.) Toss your ideas in here
Ideas:
- Can only link to SoylentNews.org pages (maybe a few other select URLs?)
- /a/ARTICLE_ID url links to the article on SN
- /u/USER_ID_OR_NAME links to the user on SN
- /RANDOM_ALPHANUM works like a normal URL shortener, an arbitrary URL in the soylentnews.org domain
- an interesting comment on Soylentnews with ideas about article and comment URL format
